Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2020-21: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will organize the admission test JVNST for the students who want to admission in JNVs all across the country. Parents/Guardians/Students should regularly visit the Navodaya Vidyalaya website as the admission forms and JNV prospectus for class VI and Class IX for 2020-2021 is being excepted to be released in the upcoming weeks of October 2019.
JNVST Notification 2019-20
Last year, notification for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya admission forms and prospectus for 2018-19 was released in the month of sept-oct 2017, thus it is highly excepted that official notifications will be available soon on the website. The tentative dates for the procedure of form filling should start in the month of October and end in the first week of December 2018 fo0r Summer bounded JVNs.

NVS Admission 2019-2020 Class 6th, 9th
The admission procedure for JVN selection test admission will be an online mode for this session. Forms should be filled by candidates to desire in JNV for the Class VI and IX. Parents and Guardians should check the eligibility criteria before start filling the application form.
The detailed eligibility criteria will be mentioned in the notification-cum-prospectus. The intensive information about the age, relaxation (if any), caste reservation and residence verification and formats forms will be attached to the online prospectus.
Along with the online mode, the CSCs can also fill up the application forms for JNV selection tests by paying a nominal charge of 35/- to CSCs operator.
In addition to it, the parents/guardians can reach to verify the application form from the Headmaster/principal of candidate’s sch0ool where he is studying Class V and hand it over to the Princicip[al of Navodalaya Vidyalaya fo the concerned area and receive d acknowledgement.
This offline form can also be downloaded from the official website. Candidates can fill up the forms by any of these methods only once.
Parents/guardians must go through the prospectus thoroughly. The age of candidate applying must be according to the mentioned in the prospectus of 2019-2020. According to it, The candidate must be born after 1.5.2005 and before 30.04.2009.
He/She must complete his/her schooling of Class III, IV, and V in government schools, governments-aided schools, recognized institute or NIOS.
It is advisable to fill the categories in the form very carefully as any wrong or false information in this part may directly lead to the cancellation of your application and NVS admission forms. Be careful while filling the caste category for the reservation i.e; General, OBC, SC, ST and Divyangs. Areas (Urban/Rural) must be filled carefully.
Application forms should not have any spaces/column left empty which may lead to liability for rejection of the forms. Any information in the application form found false while admission procedure which will lead to the cancellation of candidature from the JNVST 2019-2020.
JNVST Exam Admit Card 2019
JNVST Exam admit card will be issued to every eligible candidate who completed his/her application form. Candidates who filled his/her forms online will get entrance pass-cum-admit card from Common service centres nearby by paying a nominal charge of 10 INR/- to the operator for downloading of your admit cards.
Please verify your details after downloading/printing as such as your name, date o birth, address, category and venue mentioned clearly in the admit card.
Generally, it is excepted that admit cards for all bound are being published online before two to three weeks of the examinations. Kindly check with official website regularly in this specific duration.
For all bound(Summer/Winter/Extreme Winter ) the JNVST for Class VI 2019 is scheduled around last week of April 2019, that is the admit card must be available to the candidates in the first week of April 2019.
For JNVST 2019 Class IX, The admit cards must be available to the candidates in the starting of May 2019 as the selection test is excepted to scheduled in mid-May 2019.
JNVST Exam Syllabus and Pattern
The scheme pattern for JNVST 2019 will be the same as in previous years. Candidates must go through last years test papers of JVNST for a better understanding of the test papers and syllabus.
The JNVST paper will consist of 3 sections and a total of 100 marks for objective question type and duration of 2 hours will be given on whole for it. There will be no negative marks in this examination.

JNVST Result 2019-20
Parents/ Candidates can check their result on the official website nvshq.org as the list of students selected on marks basis will be uploaded on the portal. You can go to the notification and check the results published regions.
Parents are advised not to issue the transfer certificate from the school where a student goes for class V and VIII seeing the name in the list until the whole Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya admission procedure is being completed.

The Result is being expected to be published in the month of July 2019. JNVST Class 6th results 2019-20 and cutoff will be published first, followed by Class 9th. The merit list will be region wise or state wise, and it will be published for those who surpassed the cutoff in their respective papers.
