St. Xaviers School for boys was founded in July, 1941 under the name of St. Marys Boys School in the Roman Catholic Church Compound at Ghat Gate, Jaipur by Rev. Fr. Ignatius, O. F. M. cap. In July, 1943 its management was entrusted to the Jesuit Fathers, member of a religious order internationally renowned for its education work. The School was transferred to the present site and renamed St. Xavier School in January, 1945

Located In the heart of the city of Jaipur, The campus of the school is described by many as one of the best. The sports facilities are one of the best in Jaipur. There are 3 basketball courts,2 tennis courts,2 swimming pools, a football field, a hockey field and 2 cricket fields in addition to various indoor sport courts. There are 4 buildings, The Senior School, The Junior School The Middle School & The Science block. The schools has one of the best library having a large variety of books.the school also has two large auditoriums for various activities.
